- Step 4- Lets make the Bechamel sauce. Heat ½ a stick of butter on med heat. Once bubbling add 2 teaspoon flour and whisk. Then add another teaspoon of flour, and whisk. Then in a bit add another teaspoon of flour and whisk. I like to add them in steps. It helps in adjusting consistency.Add cold milk slowly, and whisk. Lots of whisking. Sauce will start to thicken up. Then add the rest of the milk, 1 cup in total, and keep whisking. Once smooth, season with salt, pinch of nutmeg and cinnamon pow
- Step 5- Now lets make the lamb burger patties, To 2 lbs of ground lamb, add 1 tsp garlic salt and 1 tsp onion salt, ½ tsp cumin powder. 1 tsp dried oregano and the completely cooled cooked eggplant. Mix everything tenderly. Add some black pepper. I got 6 portions in total. Form them into decent sized patties. And put aside in the fridge, it will firm them up a bit which be easier to handle
- Step 6- Back to potatoes. Drain the water from the potatoes and pat them dry with kitchen towels. The best you can It will make the potatoes crispy.Drizzle some olive oil, ½ teaspoon paprika, season with salt. Toss them well. Take a baking tray, line them up with sheet liner, spray some cooking oil and spread the potatoes nicely and bake at 425 degree Fahrenheit for 20 mins, we will flip them after that.
- Step 7- slice some tomatoes and onions. drizzle a little bit of vinegar on top and sprinkle some freshly chopped mint
